Now I'm off to watch Doctor Who, been told "Gridlock" is really something to look forward, so I'm looking forward to watch it. I LOVE Martha like whoa! She's awesome and cool-headed and pro-active and less likely to befriend the victim-to-be resulting in her own victimization. I liked Rose, but I love Martha. There.

You have got to go check this video, it's a Supernatural montage to Hell Bells and it rocks like only Supernatural can.
This is why I love this show, this stuff just works with it, and it makes me happy in my heart and brain.
The initial voice over just killed me dead. Seriously.

Just had this odd dream wherein Tara (Buffy's Willow's Tara) comforted Dean (Winchester, duh) upon his returning home after a hunt. And in my dream, it totally made sense that Tara was sleeping in Dean's childhood bed because, for some reason, she was camping out in his house (which wasn't in Lawrence. Heresy, I know) while some other TV shows' assorted witches made some sort of hunter-on-the-making training camp on his backyard.
So anyway, point was: Dean walks into his room, utterly exhausted and looking kinda crest-fallen, Tara closes the little "Dear Diary" formatted book she's writing on and looks at him, puts a hand on his shoulder (somehow their positions reverse without previously informing me. (Rude of them, btw.) And now he' s sitting down by the desk, his back to her and she's standing behind him, a hand on his shoulder squeezing ever-so-slightly) and asks him if he wants her to leave him alone, Dean nods and she exits the room because she's such a good friend and is totally attuned to Dean's needs...
It amused me, upon waking up.

It has everything a good ep should have, crazy asshole-y villains that speak about themselves in the third person, much crack on the world and everything in it. Oh! and the debut of a certain cool dude as the helpful Victim of the Week!. Seriously, you wanna go watch the ep, if only to find out who the guest star is.
Snark, brotherly love, freaked out Sam, confused Dean and the completely and utterly rocking presence of the outstanding Guest Star.

P.S.: Where did they forget Jo? I keep picturing her walking by some roadside, alone, cold and damn pissed at the writers that forgot to write her a ride, and to top it all up, they didn’t even give her one freaking back roads driver to hitchhike to. Poor thing. I should not be this worried about her, but then again, they did kill Ash, so… my concern is legitimate.
It just dawned on me. In two days, will be the end of an era. The Supernatural Battle Part Two will come to its end.
I can't deal with this right now. This last week was a blur, a trace of color and undefined shapes that didn't quite recorded itself in my memory. I didn't even have time to dwell on the cliffhanger-angst. That's gotta be wrong in so many levels.

May. 10th, 2007 05:08 pmSo, I had a life, then Thursday came along and stuff that should get done is not getting done, because I'm too busy going bi-polar over spn tonight.
Things being as they are, I have no choice but to bite my fingernails and whoop in joy, I mean "THE LAST TWO EPS" is a phrase that happens to be versatile in extremis, depending on the intonation with which is uttered, as I've come to discover through the day.
What sucks the loudest is that y'all will see tonight's ep right when it airs.... I will have to wait until is available for download, and then? I'll have to wait until it has downloaded. Usually this doesn't bother me because by Friday night I'll have watched it, and some thinking/squeeing action might take place. But today? Today is a new animal.

Btw; inquisitive minds want to know, does anybody have any idea when will we be hearing from the Kripke whether or not we get more Winchester Brothers-weekly-doses?

But hey, one of the awesome, awesome things about this show is its Fandom (yeah, it totally starts with a capital f) so sinceignipes and missyjack have started, I'll do my share. But in my own way....
I love spn because its given me "Back in Black". Twice. "Renegade"; "Wheel in the Sky"; the dudemeter; the chance to see Jensen Ackles act his guts out; The opportunity to watch how Jared Padalecki improves his mad acting skillz
It's also given me such beautiful shots, like mirror shots and background and back-roads shots that are just perfect. I love how much thought is put in the visual aspect of it all, how the contrast is so harsh to make a point, how they can make a from-between-Sam's-legs shot seem evil ans scary but also artsy despite all the dirty thoughts going in my head at the time. I love that the boys speak in unison, and the "Bitch-Jerk" quib. I love how brotherly they are, how real it feels. I love that Dean is the twelvest. I love that Bobby has Holly Beer. I love that John had a anal-retentive way of organizing his guns while Dean and Sam just toss them in. I love the dreamcathcer hanging from the gun's box's lid. I love Metallicar. I really love Metallicar, in fact, in all honesty, before I even knew JA was in it, I knew about the Impala and stopped zapping through channels because of the car.
I love that we have the coolest fandom ever. Period. I love how prolific it is, and how respectful of its members. How creative and well plotted fics see the daylight every day. I am truly amazed that some of these writers aren't published authors. I love how willing we are to jump into any kind of intellectual discussion about the show and the characters. I love that this is about the fifth time I've encounter odes to the show.
I love that I got all heart-swollen after reading the previous ones, so inspired that I even decided to pull this one on my own. The last person to do that wascherryscott with her Ode to Supernatural and the result of that one was my "Oh Dean" icon. I love that now I wanna finish that fic where Kat is a hunter who hopes to one day run into the bros and tell them all she's done and all she's learned because she was so grateful they saved her life. I also wanna read something where Michael checks the closet and the window's latch before going to bed and tells Asher, when he asks that yes, he believes in God and that there are angels out there.
I too hope that one day, I get to hear "Riders on the Storm" being played on the show. And someone telling Dean "Thank you for being there" and Sam fanboying over some new gizmo he managed to get his hands on...
