Pain, why do you hurt so? Is there some reason why you gotta annoy that much? Did someone break your heart in the past, and here you are, taking revenge wherever it is to be found?
Why?
Just. Why?
/miserable, half-written poetry.

I am in so much pain right now. Had a twenty minutes long eye surgery yesterday and spent the entire day in bed, with ice packs pressed to my face and eventually sneaked out to check email and stuff, didn't take more than five minutes doing so, went back to bed and stayed there until this morning when I went to get the bandages out (what an adventure it was, to type single-eyedly) and then, there it was: PAIN, they gave me a shot because the pills that had been working so well until then were just not doing a thing. God!

I can see clearly, perfectly focused and everything, but it hurts so bad I wanna throw up. My right eyelid is all swollen and purple at the moment, looks like someone took an elbow to it. The surgery was fairly noninvasive, just peel off the lower eyelid a little way down and clean up, three small incisions that didn't even bleed all that much and that's that, I understand it should hurt some, but HOLY MOTHER OF HELL!, shouldn't be this bad today. I'm told.

I think I'm getting kinda feverish too. Maybe is just paranoia.

I wouldn't have done so either, but there was this little cystic formation in my lower eyelid and that had to come out. Hence the situation, but I'm much better now, just some really minor swelling and the technicolor itty bruise.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're in pain *pets* I totally feel for you - my stomach has been acting up the past couple of days, and I've been getting migraines every evening, but I bet it's nothing compared to what you're going through.

No longer, apparently I'd just caught a garden variety virus that was doing the rounds in the house, it would seem like you're weaker in terms of autoimmunity when on antibiotics. Go figure.

Ouch! we're gonna have to sit down and have a serious conversation with your stomach, babe, it doesn't seem to be getting the hints that OMGDONOTWANT! so we may need to be a bit more forceful there.

I KNOW! And I had to be awake the whole time. Scarred for life, I tell you.

It wasn't supposed to hurt that much, I'm just especial. And there was the virus I caught from someone, somewhere, that happened to be completely antibiotics-proof. Not that antibiotics are given to you after a surgery in order to avoid something like this, or anything... ::shakes head:: But I'm better now, just minor swelling and a rather conspicuous bruise. Heh
