And then? It was a hella hot day! I'm moving to one of those corners of the Earth where the sun never freaking shines! Heard there's a lot of depression going on in those places, so there'll be job for me. I'm all set, see?

Um, my favorite book would have to be One Hundred Years of Solitude, definitely.

My comfort book, my security blanket, and from this POV, arguably, the actual favorite is To Kill a Mockingbird.

I'm going for both the intelectual approach and the um...I guess, "mindless" one.

A) If you could be the character of any book, what character and in which book would you be? And if you could, would you - as the character - do anything differently, therefore changing the plot of the book?
B) What is your all-time favorite comfort food and drink?

A)Wow. Some question. I've actually been thinking about this, long and hard. I'd be Eowyn, she showed me you could do men's work and move around in a men's world without losing your inherent femininity. Granted, she had to dress herself as a man to go to war, but she had an accomplice and her reasons were just as justifiable as everyone else's, she went there not just for her family, she went for her country and her belief that all of the people of the Mark should have a shot at helping save their country. I admire that.

Um, I don't particularly disagree with many aspects of her characterization, and the changes I'd make would not be very plot changing, if at all, namely I wouldn't have her falling for Faramir so soon after her loss and especially after being bounced off by Aragorn. I guess I don't see the romance on something that happened by accident and under such stressing circumstances. But maybe that's just me. Not that I don't approve of the pairing but I'd have kept it more platonic for longer, at least until after the war was over.

Got lengthy, huh?

B)grilled-cheese sandwiches, my brother used to make them for me because it was the only thing he didn't burn to a crisp. Hot chocolate, contrary to popular belief, Venezuela can get really cold at nights and mom would make these HUGE cups of chocolate and play video games with us when it was cold enough for it.
