Lazarus, Arise!

I would be original and say I had thoughts and theories and questions and stuff, but instead I will only say links for you to go read the thoughts and theories and questions of far more coherent people than me, and maybe later (after I'm done making dolphin noises) you'll get an cup of my own thoughts and theories and questions. Need to sort through them myself first, before inflicting them on y'all.
From
indysaur she makes the same point I've been making for a while now (since HOtH, more specifically), she just makes sense whereas I confuse myself. Also, she knows stuff.
And from
bowtrunckle because she has this need for symmetry that I wholeheartedly agree with, meaning that again, she's coherent and put together where I'm a string of rushed out words. Oh, and she poses these really interesting questions and reminds me why (as if I could forget) is it that I love this show so damn. much. It makes me happy in my brain and my pants, usually simultaneously.
For myself I will say that I'm so thrilled about Castiel and all the possibilities he brings to the table, but I'm also kind of weary of him (not unlike the weariness I have of Ruby, although at some point that weariness became wishful thinking, I'm sure) because there's always the chance he's not as clear as day as he presents himself and has other plans under his sleeve ::poorly uses metaphors:: which, yes, makes him all the more interesting, but even if there isn't some ulterior motive, I'm still shaking with joy because FINALLY, THEY ARE NOT ALONE!!
Ruby. Hi new Ruby! kinda liked the actress better when she was being "Kristy" as opposed to when she showed up as Ruby, but then it occurred to me, maybe I need to see Ruby interact with Dean, he's the one she's usually biting to, all superior and stuff, with Sam she was always sort of softer (not the word I'm looking for, but it'll do), nicer, especially during NRftW when she was even sympathetic to his predicament. Plus a lot has happened and Ruby herself might have changed since Sam and her became, uh, friends/lovers/allies? whichever.
And, as usual, HI JA'S MAD ACTING SKILLZ! did he knock one this out of the park or what????
Loved Bobby's holy water and his reluctance to believe his eyes (ears?), as opposed to Sam who was kind of easy to get to, I mean, he only pulled a knife and then, what? not even be suspicious of Bobby? I would have been, if they brought Dean back to screw with him, then it would not be so far-fetched to think they possessed Bobby as well. It makes me uneasy. I think sweet little Sammy Knows Something, he's just really good at not telling stuff.
SHOW IS BACK!!! ::blisses out::
Jesus Christ, it's so overcast that at 10.30 in the morning there is no light coming in whatsoever. None. The sky? is golden. I cannot get my fancy jacket wet! So, cross your fingers that it stops raining before three in the afternoon, would you?

Date: 2008-09-22 12:36 am (UTC)Maybe they haven't found the way to make Ellen (or Jo, for that matter) fit into their story again, this is what I tell to myself anyway.
And Sam teaming up with Ruby (since we don't know for SURE that they're actually screwing) is just another way to show how off balance Sam is without Dean around, I think. Like him embracing his powers now, where in the past he's only been willing to do under extremely stressing situations, ya know?
Gotta love Bobby, man, he rocks on so many levels.
