::is back from the dead:: Man, this is what zombies must feel like, except I'm not particularly hungry for brains, or anything.

  • Point is. I'm home, it was nice to be with the family and have cake and stuff, but I missed being held responsible for my own choices, I missed knowing the routes of public transportation and, oh God, I missed my bed.

  • Wanna know what else I missed? Moussey's deadline. ::cough:: See? I do have the fic written and all; I do not, however, have it in the computer, which, as you can see, would be the obstacle in my way. Ugh, I'm totally one of those folks who have no respect for deadlines and the like, shame on me, dude. But I am also one of those folks who insist on finding the damn bright side on every stupid thing possible, and so, I did find a title (fancy and all) for the fic in the meantime. So, Mousse, focus on that, m'kay?

  • Um, I may have gotten myself into a really tight spot with the Mother's Husband. He insists that I take the commercial road and work my own office, I insist that humanitarian work is my thing and will not be sidetracked, because I'm digging my heels in. Ultimately, it doesn't really matter what I end up doing, since it's really not an area of my life he's ever shown much interest in, until now when I told my mom she was not gonna get much chance to live off of me due to my potential future lack of resources, she's already assumed this fact and has found her peace with it, he has not. Clearly we both have very, very different worldviews and this isn't the first time we butt heads, unfortunately it is the worst fight I've ever gotten into in my life. So. I'm having trouble finding the bright side here. We'll see how it works out in the end.

How're y'all doing?

S'okay, hun. Seriously, don't worry about it *pets* I'm just glad you managed to write something *iz proud*

Also: I wouldn't have remembered about the deadline anyway - I spent the entire 5th of August in kidney stone labor. 14 FUCKING HOURS, dude. Just the memory of the pain makes me want to kill myself. T'was just... ouch >_<

And after that I had to spend a couple days in the hospital under observation, so... yeah. The last thing I was thinking about then, was fic *winces*

But I'm back now, hopefully for good. So... GIVE ME MY FIC, WOMAN! :D

hugs :*

Sorry for writing here, but Yahoo's being a bitch and I can't seem to send out literally any emails.

Anywho, answering your message: DUDE *glares* Of course I've heard about the Mayfair Witches. They rule beyond imagination. And I second your notion - they're waaay better than any vampire novel Rice's ever written (which doesn't change the fact that I <3 "The Vampire Chronicles" to death ^_^).
I've only managed to read the 1st book in "The Mayfair Chronicles" (or more acurately: I started reading. I can't seem to finish it - it's an awesome read, but pretty "hard", if you get my drift). Nonetheless, I'm familiar with the characters and basic concept.

Having said that - if it's not a problem - I'd love to read what you have so far, and perhaps later read the rest.

Sound good?
Cause, seriously girl, I am extremely fic deprived.
I freakin' need something fandom-related to read *nods furiously*

Patiently awaiting fic ^_^
M.

S'okay, girl. It's my fault, really - my laptop got kinda messed up, so I have to use my roommates computer, and for some reason her IE won't let me write e-mails in my Yahoo!Mail account.
It's why I have to resolve to answering your e-mails in comments *kicks stupid computer*

In that case - meaning, being on someone else's lappy - you are excused. But only a little :P
Remember - I am very fic deprived. Plus, I've lately had a lot of experience with pain and I intend to inflict it on those who annoy me *wink wink*

Anywho... I read the fic you posted - will comment as soon as I'm able to knock some sense into my laptop >_<

Awaiting an e-mail with lovely fic (title muchly approved!),
M.
