1. Am taking a cigarette break without any actual cigarette being involved ::hides from supervisor::, I feel so sneaky.

2. The bf (whom from now on shall be referred to as S) brought me flowers to work this morning, effectively outing our relationship to my co-workers. But that's not the cool part, the cool part is that he was completely unfazed by my forgetting to mention my new "status" to the people I work with, that guy knows me well enough to last a while ::is happy::. Oh, and the flowers? are edible. I really, really like him.

3. I need recs of books/fanfiction about dystopias. This is of the most importance to my future and incidentally happens to be the reason I'm taking a cigarette break at all. So, get to it flist, hook a girl up and I'll bake and eat cookies in your honor, deal?

I totally adore Equilibrium. I mean, Christian Bale... *purrs* And "V for Vendetta" is one of the most interesting films I've seen in a while. Not to mention beautifully shot and acted.

You're welcome, hun. Pleasure is all mine ^_^

So many miles apart, yet the same shared experiences... makes ya wonder.

"V for Vendetta" is one of the most interesting films I've seen in a while.
One of those I'm going to buy as soon as I have enough money to spend on such banalities as intellectual recreation.

;P

*edible* flowers, eh? whell whell :D :D

dystopias ... hmm.. I'm sure you've already got 1984 and Brave New World? I feel like I must have read many more, as I constantly dream of post-apocalyptic worlds... I shall ponder, and hopefully be back!

Yeah, Brave New World at least, went today scouting for some of the ones I've recced and bought Fahrenheit 451, will read as soon as I'm done with the one I'm reading. Clearly studying for finals will have to get squeezed in-between. ::headdesk::

Ohh, cool movies! Gotta go and see if my DVD club has any of those I haven't seen.

Thank you, babe! ;D

ALso, HI, HOW ARE YOU?
