Its over. Officially. I'm back home and things... look just the way I left them, which is sad, really, because I left a mess when I left.

The grand highlights of The Trip O' Doom? My dad thinks cake is best served on the floor, my mon feels she's been left out of her children's lives since neither Jared nor I ever call her Momma anymore O.o. Sophie can't pronounce "photo phobic" because she has no idea what it means, same applies to "amnesty" and "persqueeter" (the later is also unknown to my parents as well, which makes me feel vaguely dirty. Also? is that how you spell it? And more importantly, where the HELL did she pick that one up?). The bro called mom for her birthday and the entire family paraded trough the phone in a total of seven minutes (they're five people over there), then Jared came back and asked to speak to me, somehow he managed to drag me along side him (for a grand total of 42 minutes) ino the heavily philosophical question of what sounds better: "Dick" or "Cock"....

::headdesk/facepalm/eye roll::

And to my greater enjoyment of the moment, the mother happened to walk in on me when I was expressing my idea that for some unfathomable reason, I think "cock" has a better resonance to it. She just looked at me, and then said "And here I thought you were the smart one"

::repeat all the previous actions::

Oh, also? Jared revived my all-time-favorite nickname. You can call me "Scout" now. It reminds me that while I am not the baby sister anymore, I remain his little sister. Okay, chik-flick moment over.

So there, that was my Easter Break (the gave us the whole week. Something's coming. School's never that nice to us)
How 'bout you. How you doing?

Oh man, you'e so lucky to have a big brother! I know that it feels like that to someone who doesn't but still I'd love to have one. Everytime I hope for one my mum says, "Sweetie, you asked me for a little brother, I gave you that, but you can't ask for a big brother, you came first! If you didn't want to be the eldest which you absolutely love, for the simple reason because you love ordering everyone around, you shoulda waited for sometime!" Grr.

I love Jared to pieces! He's this constant presence in my life. We're very close because he's only three years my senior and for twelve years I was the little girl in the house.
Big brothers are made of awesome, each and every one of them... well, every has its exceptions, but your mom's right, it'll be a cold day in hell before I get to actually order my brother to do something and he would actually do it!

So, I'd advice you to take advantage of your position, lil' siblings really do look up to their elders.

Dude, I'm betting you're the youngest. Cos in real, they don't! My sisters totally ignore me & yet I get blamed for their mistakes cos as the elder one, I'm setting the example.

And yeah, likeI said I don't have a big brother & can't possibly get one. So you're not helping!

I'm the middle one, actually. My little sister ignores me too, and I too am supposed to set the example especially since we're both girls and... Jared is not. He gets so much leeway!

Exactly! My brother is the youngest and is completely spoilt, since you know he's the only boy after three very noisy girls and he's the last child in the family, he's totally babied. Totally unfair!

Men! My bro gets away with it because Sophie, obviously, leans heavier on me, whereas I am supposed to be a grown kid who knows better than to follow her brother's lead... I still do it anyway. And sometimes he even takes the blame for it. Sometimes.

Hey, Ive been meaning to ask, how're your exams going?

Haha, in my case, I'm the leader. I love it that way. Its not like anyone listens but still.

Cos seriously, I believe in giving orders not following. And people have called me arrogant & spoilt & whatnot. But seriously, I'm the least spoilt.

Because I was the first kid, soon after me there was my sister who was the baby, then the next. So I never got to be the baby in the house. Some say it was because I was first child, grandchild, neice, everything else on both the sides of my family, it means I'm spoilt.

Hey, I just like doing things my way. Where does being spoilt come from?

Lucky you!, I too like giving orders... and they too fall flat. Or I fall flat on my face, whatever.

Funny thing is that Jared says I'm the spolied one because I did get the chance to be the baby, for a long time, I was twelve when Sophie was born, so I had the chance to be babied, but to the rest of the world he's the spolied one...
It makes no sense!

I fall flat on my face too. But it still doesn't take the fun out of the fact that you have the right to.

Exactly! My brother is th only one who really got to be a baby. All three of us girls have been born within a span of 5 years. And the bro is younger by ten to me. So he's not only smothered by the family but also by his sisters especially me. Yet, I'm the spoiled one. It really, really makes no sense.
