So, my eight-years-old sister is talking to me on the phone and she's telling how there's this bully in her class that she just wishes she could "pump full of rock salt".... yeah, I love my sister so much. She doesn't understand half of what happens in SPN but still she'll watch, because Dean "amuses her" and sometimes reminds her of my usually annoyed snarky self. 

I think she has a crush on JA, which is weird because she hates boys, she's in that age where she hates them publicly and secretly, is writing in her diary how many babies she wants to have with the kid that sits in front of her in class. So what's weird is that she admits to be attracted by Jensen (a lot; her fav treat? his freckles, she's such a fangirl!) 

But you know, that's Jensen's superpower. The ability to bring women to his manly feet with a single glance. Which should totally freak me out, because my baby sister is only eight... what's gonna become of her when she's fifteen? Who's she gonna be swooning for then?

Your sister sounds absolutely adorable. I love how she wants to Rock Salt the bully. (Although I'm sorry to hear she's being bullied. Kids can be so mean.)

She always manages to come up with the most bizarre things possible. A few months ago she asked my about the meaning of life...
As in : "Paola, why are we here?, I mean in this world. Alive. Is there a reason? A purpose for our existence?"

She's only eight yrs old, it scares me to think what she'll be asking about when she's, say twelve or sixteen.
She wants to rock salt him. God. And she said it like it was a phrase everybody used, like it was the most normal thing in the world to pump people full of rock salt.

It is! At her age my questions were a little bit more mundane, like y'know why do we always have pasta for dinner mom?...
But is good she's that curious. She watches Animal Planet and loves the Shark Week. She wants to be a Paleontologist, which is new, last year her dream was becoming a Geologist. Now they're living in this place were there actually were dinosaurs, and all the things she knows about them is astounding. She's a little walking Trivia herself!
