Crónicas de una muerte anunciada is not one of my favorite García Márquez books. I mean, it's really good because, even though you know from the start the guy is going to die, actually has already died, Gabriel's narrative makes you think that, in the end, the guy is going to survive and it's all going to be a big misunderstanding. But then the book ends, the guy is still dead, and you're like: Damn it! And you can't hate the writer because he told you from the beginning the guy was dead!!!
I think I'm gonna visit the bookstore this week and get To Kill a Mocking Bird, because you're not the first person to tell me I have to read it. LOL!!
